Speaker – Zac Morris, PE

Zac is a senior consultant who has also worked in the construction industry for many years. He has the unique perspective from both sides of the AEC industry. In construction, he worked his way up from a laborer to field engineer and up through project manager running large marine and civil construction projects. Zac transitioned back into the AE industry over a decade ago and has worked his way up from engineer-in-training to principal engineer at AMI Consulting Engineers. He has had the privilege to work with nearly every type of client (private, public, federal, non-profit, tribal, associations, R&D, etc.) in the AEC industry.

His diverse background and deep project experience have provided him a thorough understanding of the challenges an owner has in navigating projects from feasibility, design, grants, permitting, construction, warranties, and maintenance. Zac enjoys partnering with owners and collaborating with contractors to ensure project success. What keeps him up at night is owners that are taking advantage of.
