Erik Schults, EIT

Erik Schults graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Tech, where he focused on structural and geotechnical work. He joined Edgewater Group, LLC. in 2019 and brought extensive bathymetric survey experience and general surveying along with marina design, shoreline stabilization, marine structure maintenance and construction, and marine navigation experience to the firm. Since joining Edgewater Group, LLC., Schults has worked on engineering teams designing marine facilities in Michigan, Florida, New York, and the Caribbean. As an intern with the Army Corps of Engineers, he monitored the environmental stability of dredge material, placement of the material, and construction oversight and monitoring of pier renovations and dam removal. He is experienced in photogrammetry and is a certified commercial drone pilot.
