David Isom

David Isom is the general manager of Safe Harbor’s Charleston City Marina, where he oversees operations of the renowned Megadock. With over 22 years of experience in the marina industry, including 17 years with Charleston City Marina, David is a seasoned expert in his field. He credits his success to the guidance of his mentor, the legendary Robbie Freeman. Together, David and Robbie collaborated with local and federal agencies to relocate the Ashley River Channel further out into the river. The Megadock, under David’s leadership, hosts around 5000 transient boaters each year and sells over 1 million gallons of diesel per year.
