Mike Kenny

Mike Kenny joined Edgewater in 2016 and has quickly cultivated a variety of experience and expertise within the marina and coastal engineering industry. He has played a key role on numerous marina and waterfront projects since joining Edgewater and is currently responsible for the operations and management of Edgewater’s South Florida office, under direct supervision of company principal, Ronald Schults, PE. Kenny’s skills include bathymetric and topographic surveying, environmental permitting, marina planning, marine structural design, hydraulic modeling, marina feasibility analysis, grant writing, project management, and construction administration. Kenny gained experience early on by working with several licensed professional engineers to support workflow from initial project conception to final project close out. He is proficient in MIKE-21 Coastal Modeling, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Ruskin-RBR data analysis, HEC-RAS, ST-Wave, CHAMP, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Drone Piloting and is quickly gaining experience as a project engineer leading multiple projects as he continues to work towards obtaining his professional engineering license within the next 6 months.
