Michael Ellsberry

Michael Ellsberry founded and serves as the CEO of Anchor Financial.  The company services many types of businesses for financial consulting and loan sourcing.  In a career of independent small business consulting, plus service as a business adviser and director of the Small Business Development Center, he is approaching 750 engagements and over $40M in all types of financing.   Financial based engagements have included SBA 504 loans, SBA 7(a) loans, commercial bank loans, leasing, lines of credit, and factoring.

Ellsberry holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Even with the experiences above it is impossible to overstate the influence of the family wholesale/retail marine supplies business in Dallas, Texas. The company expanded into auto and aircraft paint, a boatyard operation in Corpus Christi, Texas, three locations of the base business, and briefly owned a boat dealership. The company operated from 1950 to 2000. Ellsberry served as a director of the Marina Association of Texas and president of the Dallas Boat Show, Inc.
