Sanad Aridah is VoltSafe’s CTO, focused on creating smart electrical infrastructure and demand & supply side energy management for the marine industry. He is the brains behind VoltSafe’s shore power ecosystem: a prongless (magnetic) hardware connector that sets a new standard in marine electrical safety, paired with a feature-rich energy management dashboard and boater app.

With the rapid increase in electrification demands, coupled with antiquated infrastructure, the time for a safer solution to connecting to and controlling shore power is now, and Sanad is leading the charge, helping marinas future-proof their docks with VoltSafe’s inventive shore power ecosystem. Delivering solutions that have an impact of this magnitude is what gets our ‘Circuit Whisperer’ excited every day to innovate and provide a safer, simpler, and more innovative solution for marine shore power, and it is what makes him an outstanding contributor in the industry. Sanad holds a BASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada, with a specialization in nanotechnology and microsystems. He has a strong passion for ideation, prototyping, and advancement in electrical designs, and is driven by making the impossible possible.

Sanad joined VoltSafe when the company was established in 2015 . With Sanad at the helm of VoltSafe’s marine shore power ecosystem, VoltSafe has been invited to speak at many events and trade shows, as well as actively contribute to the American Boating Congress and the American Boat & Yacht Council standards. He has accepted a CES and IBEX Innovation Award for VoltSafe’s advanced marine shore power solution.

In the past year, Sanad attended IBEX, where VoltSafe made the Top 10 list of The Soundings Trade Only Most Innovative Marine Companies, and at The Docks Expo and Marina Conference in 2024, Sanad was a Young Leader Award recipient.
