Rebecca Hayden

Rebecca Hayden works for the Tennessee Valley Authority in Natural Resources as the Senior Manager in Recreation and Shoreline Management. She has 17 years of experience in various stewardship roles at TVA including Manager of Policy and Project Management, Manager of Natural Resources Management East Region, a Program Manager working with customers and community leaders; a Limnologist responsible for fish tissue and bacteriological monitoring across the Tennessee Valley; and a watershed specialist.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Technology from Murray State University in Kentucky; a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Rebecca also is a graduate of the four-month Leadership and Management for Accelerated Performance program, which was a joint program between TVA and Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.  She holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.  Outside of work Rebecca can be found enjoying nature and her farm animals, riding horses, or reading books.
