In the past year, Kevin Parker has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars on a range of leading topics related to marketing to boaters. Though relatively new to boating, he is a part-time manager at the harbormaster’s office and manager at The Club at Westpoint Harbor in Redwood City, California. Parker is also a marketing veteran, having been the CMO for a number of Silicon Valley technology companies. Creator of the “There’s No Business Like Old Business” install-base marketing methodology, Parker’s primary focus is to ensure that revenue from existing customers is maximized. His “Turning Customers into Champions” program is recognized as an effective and inexpensive way of expanding sales reach without increasing sales costs. Parker is an avid conservationist, pub quiz designer, and event organizer.  He was born and educated in the U.K. Most weekends you will find Parker aboard his boat with his wife, Julie, their golden retrievers, Teddy and Bobby, and numerous friends, enjoying the delights of the San Francisco Bay.
