Iaian Archibald

Iaian​ ​Archibald​ ​is​ ​the​ ​CEO​ ​and​ co-founder​ ​of​ ​Swell​ ​Advantage,​ ​a​ ​software​ ​company​ ​that​ ​builds​ ​products focused​ ​on​ ​the​ ​recreational​ ​boating​ ​industry.​ Archibald​ ​grew​ ​up​ ​lake​ ​and​ ​ocean​ ​boating​ ​in​ ​Canada’s​ ​Ocean Playground,​ ​Nova​ ​Scotia.​ ​In​ ​his​ ​20s,​ ​he​ ​spent​ ​four​ ​years​ ​as​ ​a​ ​professional​ ​whale​-watching​ ​boat​ ​driver​ ​in ​Clayoquot​ ​Sound​ ​on​ ​the​ ​West​ ​Coast​ ​of​ ​Vancouver​ ​Island,​ ​British​ ​Columbia.​ ​Swell​ ​allows​ ​Archibald to​ ​combine​ ​his​ ​passions​ ​for​ ​emerging​ ​technology​ ​and​ ​the​ ​ocean​ ​environment.​ ​He​ ​has​ ​an​ ​MBA​ ​from​ ​Saint Mary’s​ ​University ​and​ ​is​ ​based​ ​in​ ​Halifax,​ ​Nova​ ​Scotia​, ​where​ ​he​ ​can​ ​often​ ​be​ ​found​ ​playing​ ​in​ ​and​ ​on the​ ​Atlantic.
