Pam Lendzion, Executive Director, American Boat Builders & Repairers Association
Pam Lendzion has 18 years of marine industry experience, as well as a 100-ton USCG Masters License. Pam is the CEO of MarineTec Management & Consulting Company, which provides third party management and consulting services to organizations, marinas and boatyards, municipalities, developers, banks, and investment funds. Currently, Pam also serves as the executive director for the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association, the president of the Marine Industry Training and Education Council, and is an International Marina Institute faculty member, teaching leadership and management skills to marina managers. Pam speaks at trade conferences and is on the editorial board for Marina Dock Age. As a leader in two national trade associations, Pam is involved in an industry wide effort to develop a sustainable technically-skilled workforce for the recreational marine industry and to set standards for on-the-job skills training for boat builders and repairers. Pam is an original member of Business Leaders United, and with the support of National Skills Coalition, she has been lobbying congress and the White House for funding to support skills training and has been producing workshops to educate trade association leaders and employers on how to address the industry skills gap.
